(in memory of the eight students who were killed in their Yeshiva in Yerushalayim on Rosh Chodesh Adar)

To the peaceful, earnest, committed men and boys murdered in Yeshivat Merkaz Harav on March 6, 2008. Your study. Your extra act of kindness. Your smile in the face of "adversity." Your commitment to faith and family.

For those who would but no longer can, DEDIC8 a small piece of today and every day to looking outside of yourself and into your soul. For the ones who knew of hate but never subscribed, try to find a senseless act of pure and unrequested love to perform.

We could recall and still have easily forgotten or we can remember and react. For them and for us.

You can.
We can.
We can follow G-D, and be as lights to others, and to the nations of the world
We can make our own matzot for Hag HaMatzot
We can follow Parshat Bo' for Seder Leil Pesach
We can do the best that we can
For our hearts' efforts to follow Torah is the greatest of all the Korbanim we could bring to Him
While we pine and rock, whispering
Praying to Him to restore us and the righteous of the nations
Praying for Him to come and save us
I am naught: only lo klum,
OdAhad HaAm; Sheni HaAm
Worth less than the average tayeesh
All that I have is love for Him
And for you, my brothers, my sisters
Only our people and our G-D

Ha'Azinu is almost upon us.
Devarim 32.36
My prayers and open heart for you
Layla tov, layla tov.
Shalom v'l'chayyim
Lachishia shoom'eesh
