"We categorically reject the person's sincerest protestations that he believes not in the Will of G-d."

It's so Chabad. Heck, it's so Jewish! (you hear that misnaged'l? heehee, slichs 613)

You'd think that our pride in Chabad would be Ahavas Chinam. It's kinda sad that our Ahavas Yisrael is conditional.

conditional? who's talking conditions?

That we can only love and accept them if they're either like us or not frum. But a misnagid, how dare we respect him?

I don't respect their attitude of non-acceptance of Jews who claim they don't accept G-d.

I accept and respect them as a human and as a Jew. I love their neshama, I see that we are equal in the eyes of our Dad. I also pity them that they have not blessed like I have been. I feel sad for Jews who come in contact with them and are mistreated. Same for those who come in contact with Lubavitchers and are mistreated. It's just not as common.

Um what else....?

The thought process that led to the ''misnaged'l'' was that i heard the above statement at a shiur, thought it so PERFECT (like "dude, I don't CARE that u outright deny Him, cuz I'm saying that you believe in him l'gamrei") thought it so US (=chabad) then realized that yo, this is not a uniquely chabad view, this is basic judaism. But uh we are kinda the only ones who practice that. So hmmmmm....
