to live organically

so i was talking to her and explaining to her what it's like to finally live without any pressure (social, family, school etc) and how exhilirating it is that i find the need to place pressure on myself and i saw she understood by the wonderful comment she made-she said im finally living organically.

living organically-
being yourself
but letting life take you
not adding or subtracting
and growing without outside influence

the challenge, you see, is not to simply live organically, but to GROW organically.

Living organically. I like it.

I may just start running around Tzfas quoting that one.

There i was, thinking that only you and i had that conversation. And now i feel lame to have not come up with that term, "to live organically". But nevertheless you must know that i did understand what you meant by not having any annoying external pressures. It was on my mind for quite a bit of time...and my thoughts remain the same: you are so lucky to want within the realm of the right.

organic is not growing without fertilizer, its growing in a healthy one - i would argue organic would be living within/with the suport of a social/familialcontext and still being true to your own nature... .

well what is your true nature? does it depend on who u are around? does ur setting set your behavior? or does your behavior make the setting?

a tulip in the same soil as a radish is no less a tulip, but a tulip in poor soil will not be as healthy a tulip. if you transplant the flower, it will take a while to see the effect, but eventually you will. environment does not make who you are, especially past a certain point, but it does still give you the context from which to grow and that continues to have a significant impact.

organically...not a word you get to use often. Like "marinading" in a thought. Very nice...

y, i obviously still have pressures and influences, but now they are self-made, and self-chosen. thus, i AM being affected by my environment, but the soil has changed. i AM living organically. didn't say in a desert! and i do hope to GROW as well.

mimi and jake-thanks :)
